The ‘Fleet Solutions’ sector, caters for many vehicle and plant hire demands and an industry-specific light and heavy lift helicopter service, Voltcom Aviation is the Group’s air asset capability, supporting the power industry with a focus on medium and heavy lift helicopters. Its primary utilisation is pilot bond installation and wiring operations, tower line inspection and a heavy lift capacity for the movement of materials and/or specialist structure erecting. Remote Aerial Operated Vehicles and Drones are forming a larger part of Voltcom’s capability for detailed line inspections in areas where standard aviation is unable to operate for safety reasons.
